Inuksuk on the beach!

The word inuksuk means "something which acts for or performs the function of a person."

So I went to Bell Island with my Dad and I really like the views from the beach and I love beach rocks. Whenever I go there I make an inuksuk and leave it on the beach. I leave it as a way of staying on the beach. I have been doing this for the past 6 or 7 years. I have recently began taking pictures of the ones I leave behind. Hope you enjoy!

I have been to Belle Island myself many times. You may have noticed more than just yours standing guard on the beach. Being from Labrador, I have been making Inuksuk from soapstone and other Rocks from home selling them in Nova Scotia. I leave an Inuksuk everywhere I travel. So far I have left them in Africa, Spain, Mexico, Hong Kong, England, Labrador, NFLD, Nova Scotia, all across Canada and the USA. Keep up the good work the other person is right beautiful picture, well done.
